From the moment Matthew Clemmens intentionally puked on an off-duty cop and 11-year-old daughter at a Phillies game, his was a quintessentially Philly-area life.
So when @FanSince09 shared word that Clemmens, aka Pukemon, escaped the clutches of a world’s mortal embrace this week, the Delaware Valley shook in a way not felt since Kenneth Keith Kallenbach‘s passing.

You’d hope this was a hoax. But it’s too tragic to watch from afar as a mother Facebook posts about losing her son for that to be the case:
RIP Clemmens; 25 years old is way too young to die. You were someone’s son and friend and brother. You were everyone’s legend.

Beloved son of Gary and Sandy (nee Richberg) Clemmens. Loving brother of Stephanie and Michael Clemmens. Dear grandson of William & Bonnie Clemmens and Hoyt & Harriet Richberg. He is survived by his loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by his beloved dog, Nikita.
Matt was a graduate of Cherry Hill West Class of 2007. He enjoyed the casinos, playing football and basketball and working out. He was an Eagles and Phillies fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday from 10am – 12 noon at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon Saturday. Interment Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
