Jose Ruiz, 17, is from the 400 block of E. Rockland St. Kevin Tavarez, 16, is from the 200 block of East Elanor Street. And, Thomas Eanes, 18, is from the same block as Tavarez. You may know them better as the three guys who allegedly roughed up a shopper at a Northeast Philly Pathmark, an incident from which one of the three posted the video on YouTube and bragged about it on Twitter. Good move.
Per Philly Police:
On September 29, 2012 at 9:55, the complainant, a 47 year-old-male, was shopping inside Pathmark located at 85 Franklin Mills Boulevard when he was approached by three unknown males. Offender #1 began to assault the complaint and struck him with a glass bottle. When the complainant fell to the floor, the other offenders began to kick and punch him. One of the offenders took the complainants money clip containing $100 in cash. The offenders then fled the store.
These suspects are charged with robbery, assault and other related offenses.
