This just in from the Cherry Hill Police Department:
Through investigation the driver of the hit and run vehicle was identified and she subsequently confessed to her involvement in the accident at Rte. 38 and Mall Dr. on 10/4/12.
Driver: Wanda Brown, 49 year old, female, unit block of Lansdowne Ave Camden NJ.
Charged with: Causing Serious Bodily Injury While Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License, Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and Endangering an Injured Victim. She was also charged with numerous motor vehicle violations and remanded to the Camden County Jail.
The victim is currently recovering from surgery, at Cooper Hospital, as a result of multiple fractures and severe head and neck injuries.
