14967. A 64-year-old man was riding a bike southbound on Broadway near West 108th Street on Tuesday around 8:30 a.m., when the driver of a car sideswiped him and knocked him to the ground, police said. The driver then fled the scene, police added.
14968. SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) – The Summerville Police Department says a pedestrian has died following a hit-and-run that happened Wednesday.

14970. YORK, Pa. — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman early Sunday morning in West Manchester Township.
14971. A pedestrian sustained what authorities determined to be life-threatening injuries after a hit-and-run collision Thursday morning, San Diego Police said. According to SDPD, a 57-year-old woman was walking northbound in a marked crosswalk on Federal Boulevard at the intersection with Euclid Avenue around 6:11 a.m.

PLAINFIELD, NJ — At around 8:30pm on Friday night, pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing East Front Street on its 400 block, in the vicinity of the Monarch at Plainfield apartment building. The driver who struck 65-year-old Plainfield resident Jennifer Harris immediately fled the scene and has yet to be identified as of the publishing of this article.

14976. ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is recovering after police say he was hit by a car at the intersection of Upper Falls Boulevard and North Clinton Avenue Saturday night. Police got to the scene around 10:30 p.m. and say they found the 33-year-old with serious injuries. After investigating, police believe the man was in the road on a bike when he was hit by a car, and the car drove off.
14977. A hit-and-run on the West Side left a pedestrian seriously injured Monday morning, Chicago police said.
14978. OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are looking for the driver of an SUV they say hit a bicyclist, causing the rider to be hospitalized.

14980. The Austin Police Department is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that happened Tuesday in south Austin. Police said the crash happened around 1 a.m. on the East Ben White Boulevard service road, just west of Interstate 35.
14981. SACRAMENTO – An arrest has been made more than a year after a deadly hit-and-run crash in Sacramento, police said Friday. The collision happened on the morning of Aug. 17, 2023, on Railyard Boulevard and Bercut Drive. Police said a bicyclist hit died at the scene. The driver then took off from the scene, officers said.
14982. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Funeral services have been scheduled for an Albuquerque police officer who was killed in an off-duty hit-and-run two weeks ago. Officer Bianca Quintana started her career in 2020 with the Los Lunas Police Department and joined the Albuquerque Police Department in 2022.
14983. “The fact that you hit him, I know you know you hit something, and you could’ve stopped and maybe you could’ve called someone and maybe he would still be alive. But you hit my brother, and you left him in a ditch. You left him to die by himself and I just want people to know he was loved. He had a family that cared for him,” said Denise Hunter, sister.
14984. Several roads in downtown Spokane are now open after Spokane Police Department (SPD) finished their investigation into a deadly hit-and-run Friday morning in the area of 3rd and Wall downtown. Police say a vehicle hit a man while turning from Wall onto 3rd and then took off. When medics arrived they began life-saving measures, but despite their attempts, the man died at the scene due to his injuries.
