14944. Denver Police said Salcido-Luna was struck by two drivers. The first one hit him while he was on a motorcycle. The second one hit him while he was on the ground. They’re still looking for the second driver.
14945. According to the Borger Police Department, 54-year-old Angela Dawn Duncan was identified as the person who was killed during the Friday morning hit-and-run incident. As noted previously, officials responded to the 100 block of Maple Street at around 4:45 a.m. on Friday after a report of an unresponsive woman in the road. Duncan was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the wreck.
14946. A vehicle hit a bicyclist earlier this week in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and then took off, police said, asking for the public’s help in finding the vehicle.
14947. The Beaufort Police Department is investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian.
14948. Richland police are asking for help finding a driver who hit a pedestrian on George Washington Way near Uptown Shopping Center.
14949. A woman suffered a brain bleed after she and her baby were struck by a delivery driver who allegedly put the infant back in the stroller before leaving the scene in NE Miami-Dade, according to an arrest report.

14951. A man has been identified and charged in a decades-old fatal hit-and-run in Charlotte, North Carolina, police announced Friday. Herbert Stanback, 68, was charged with felony hit-and-run resulting in death in the 1989 killing of 52-year-old Ruth Buchanan, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.
14952. Police said on Aug 10, a pedestrian was struck while crossing the street around 4:11 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the 1300 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive. The pedestrian was struck first by a vehicle that remained on the scene and reported the incident to Chicago Police. Shortly after, the wanted vehicle was traveling Northbound in the right lane on DuSable Lake Shore Drive and struck the pedestrian a second time.
14953. Columbus police are seeking a driver they say killed a pedestrian in a hit-and-run early Sunday on the city’s Northwest Side.
14954. A 36-year-old bicyclist was hit and killed in Bradenton on Saturday night, according to officials.
14955. A person was hit by a white, four-door sedan, as they were walking on Eldridge Avenue. Police say the victim had critical injuries and is being treated at Regional One Hospital.
14956. Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run Saturday night in Gardena, authorities confirmed to KTLA.
14957. That child was Bridger Benner, who was just a block away from his home in Surprise when he was struck. “I can’t really move. It just hurts to move practically everything,” said Bridger.
14958. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A passing vehicle struck and killed a Valley Park woman while she was walking along a road in west St. Louis County.
14959. Pensacola Police are investigating a hit and run in front of Walmart on Creighton Road on Sunday night that left a man critically injured, according to a press release from the department.
14960. Vargas was tossed through the air like a rag doll in downtown Minneapolis when another vehicle blew through a red light and T-boned him. “Everyone who’s seen the video and come to see me and talk about it, they are just like, eyes wide, ‘You are a lucky man,'” he said.
14961. COLLEGE PARK, Ga. – On Tuesday night, a hit-and-run incident occurred in College Park, resulting in the death of a 53-year-old male pedestrian, according to the College Park Police Department.
14962. Officials are asking for the public’s help finding the suspect in a hit-and-run involving a skateboarder in Lake Highlands earlier this month. A skateboarder was found seriously injured in the10200 block of Audelia Road just south of Royal Lane around 2:20 a.m. Aug. 11, according to a police statement.
14963. A search is underway for a driver who hit and killed a man in Merced on Monday night. Officers were called to the area of Yosemite Avenue Cordova Avenue, where the victim was said to be crossing the street around 9 pm Monday. Detectives said the driver was in a Toyota of some sort and didn’t stop to see if the victim was okay.
14964. The Des Moines Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that injured a 10-year-old girl on Monday. The hit-and-run happened Monday just before 4 p.m. at Second Avenue and Ovid Avenue. Police say the girl was taken to the hospital with serious leg injuries. Investigators say the driver who hit her took off and they are now looking for that person.
14965. Roanoke Police responded at 10:17 p.m. to reports of a crash between Mountain View Terrace SW and Byrne Street SW, where the driver of a car struck three pedestrians, possibly after veering off the road. All three, a woman and two children, were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Roanoke Police.
14966. “I was in the bedroom, my daughter ran in and said, ‘Ben got hit,'” said John Reeder, Kashoc’s grandfather. “A (neighborhood) kid carried him up on the porch, laid him on the porch (and) he was just throwing up.”
