412. Plainfield, NJ. May 17. 40-year-old man suffers serious head injury after being struck by either one or two vehicles that were later stopped, but no arrests reported.
413. Plymouth, Pa. May 17. Man seriously injured after being struck by a “dark-colored Ford Ranger pick-up” which fled the scene.
414. North Miami, Fla. May 18. 51-year-old woman and 37-year-old man injured when struck by a silver car that fled the scene. Red-light camera nearby might offer more evidence.
415. Morgantown, WV. May 18. 59-year-old woman killed when her car is struck by a tractor-trailer or flatbed which took off.
416. Los Angeles (Koreatown), May 17. 61-year-old woman struck and killed by a white sedan which fled the scene.
417. Bridgeton, NJ. May 16. 53-year-old woman on bicycle suffers fractured pelvis when struck by a “Nissan 240SX or a Mercedes” that fled.
418. Buffalo, NY. May 17. Pregnant woman leaving a hospital critically injured (including head injuries) when struck by “possibly a newer model Ford pick-up, possibly a 4-door, and either maroon or red in color. The vehicle also has tinted windows and chrome grill and trim. The vehicle also has a silver tool box built into the back. Witnesses describe the driver as a white male, possibly in his 30’s, wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, blue-jeans and a buttoned-down black shirt. Anyone with information regarding the driver or the vehicle is asked to call the Confidential TIPCALL Line at 847-2255.” That animal should be put down if he doesn’t turn himself in. Hell, he should even if he does.
