1061. Stockton, Cal. Nov. 9. Adult male’s body in a grassy roadside; investigators determined the victim had been hit and killed by a vehicle within the last few days.
1062. San Antonio, Texas. Nov. 9. 54-year-old man died after being struck by two vehicles — including a white vehicle that fled the scene.
1063. South Memphis, Tenn. Nov. 8. A man struck by a car in a hit-and-run incident in South Memphis Monday is wanted on a charge of first-degree murder. The driver of the car struck Wilson, then fled in a gray Buick LeSabre. No one has been arrested in the hit-and-run, police said.
1064. Metheun, Mass. Nov. 8. 20-year-old man critically injured after being struck by a dark SUV which fled the scene.
1065. Torrance, Cal. Nov. 9. 11-year-old boy riding his bicycle to school injured when struck by a black Toyota Sequoia sport utility vehicle which fled the scene.
1066. Flint, Mich. Nov. 10. 27-year-old female and a 38-year-old male injured when struck by a smaller, compact sized purple vehicle which fled.
1067. Janesville, Wisc. Nov. 11. 48-year-old man on a motorcycle hurt when struck by a mid 1990s two-door white or silver Ford Probe which ran a red light, hit him and fled.
1068. Rochester, NH. Nov. 11. 24-year-old woman suffers minor injuries after being struck by a maroon Oldsmobile or similiar style vehicle which took off from the scene.

Rodolfo Rivera Sr. (pictured) was known to many in Watsonville as the “little old man who ran on the levee every morning,” his granddaughter said Tuesday.
Rivera, who was 80, was near the curb of East Lake Avenue and Bridge Street at 7 a.m. Saturday when he was apparently struck by a hit-and-run driver, Watsonville police said. He suffered injuries to his head, ribs and hips during the incident. He was taken off life support at Stanford Medical Center about 11:30 p.m. that night, his family said.

An Australian media executive arrested in connection with the hit-and run death of a woman on the Sunset Strip operates a company that runs the Australian version of “Girls Gone Wild.”
Ryan Bowman was arrested on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of a 21-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a Bentley while crossing Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said.

A Kingsport man has been arrested after allegedly hitting a home with his van, then leaving his son at the scene as he drove away. A police report says the suspect was later located and admitted to drinking, “about 30 beers,” prior to the wreck.
