320. Compton. April 25. One teenaged girl killed and another injured when they were struck by a suspected drunk driver in a grey Mercury Voyager minivan “traveling about 60 mph and showed no signs of braking when it struck the girls.” Found an hour later; witness descriptions.
321. Charleston, WV. April 24. Man hospitalized after being struck by a blue car.
322. Lubbock, Texas. April 18. 80-year-old woman struck and killed by a 2008 Suzuki. Several days later, Lubbock police officers “arrested 23-year-old Zachary Doss in connection with the hit-and-run, according to police. Authorities also arrested his wife Sarah Doss, 22, for hindering apprehension.” In addition to the death, three others were injured.
323 and 324. Cherry Hill, NJ. April 24. 62-year-old man found dead in street in early morning hours; police investigating it as a potential hit-and-run. In the comments of the story, people indicate there was another fatal hit-and-run in Cherry Hill this weekend as well, involving a twentysomething man.
