194. Nevada, Iowa. March 21. 11-year-old boy suffers minor injuries after being struck by a “white car – possibly a Ford Taurus or a mid-size Dodge … driven by a white woman who appeared to be between 50 and 60 years of age [and there] were two teenage girls in the back seat” which fled the scene.
195. San Rafael, Cal. March 20. Four Boy Scouts injured when the van they were in was struck by a pick-up truck which fled the scene.
196. Bates, Mo. March 21. 64-year-old man suffers critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle that fled but “the police report indicated that investigators found pieces of a blue vehicle at the scene.”
197. Houston, Texas. March 22. 8-year-old girl killed after being struck by “a sport utility vehicle, possibly a silver Mitsubishi Montero or Isuzu Trooper. A woman got out of the passenger side of the SUV and walked back to where Destiny was lying in the road. She asked if the child was injured then got back into the SUV and left the scene, police said. … the woman who got out of the SUV was thin and had pronounced mole on her left cheek. She was wearing a black cap.”
198. Athens, Ala. March 23. 3-year-old boy injured after being struck by a brown minivan driven by “a white woman with red hair.”
