11877. Hamden Police are looking for the driver who fled the scene after a hit-and-run that left a 64-year-old woman with serious injuries.
11878. Police said David Humberto-Amaya, 33 was struck by a vehicle on Flanders Road near Old Quogue Road at just before 6:230 p.m. yesterday. He was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to a police press release issued this afternoon.
11879. Tucson police are asking for the public’s help solving a hit-and-run that left a woman and her dog dead Thursday evening. According to the Tucson Police Department, evidence at the scene indicates Rodriguez was in a wheelchair with her dog while trying to cross 29th Street.
11880. A 43-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash while crossing Northern Avenue on Friday evening, the Phoenix Police Department said.
11881. During their investigation, detectives say they determined that the vehicle – believed to be a dark-colored and tan two-tone SUV, possibly a Ford Expedition – was traveling against the flow of traffic in the 100 block of Bourbon Street and struck the pedestrian victim from behind, dragging him for a short distance.
11882. A 33-year-old homeless man died after being struck by a vehicle on Flanders Road Thursday evening, Southampton Town Police said in a press release.
11883. Police have found the truck that hit two 12-year-old girls on Saturday in Midland, killing one, but they are still working to identify the driver.
11884. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said. The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Angel Thomas, according to the Cook County medical examiner.
11885. Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a fatal accident early Saturday. The hit-and-run occurred around 1 a.m. near Haddonfield Road and Marion Avenue, according to Pennsauken police department. It was the second deadly traffic accident in Camden County in recent days. A pedestrian was fatally struck on the White Horse Pike in Lawnside around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, according to New Jersey State Police. Additional details about that incident were not immediately available.
11886. A 28-year-old man died early Saturday morning after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run incident in northern Durham, police said.
11887. A woman died and another woman was injured early Sunday after a hit-and-run in northwest Dallas, police said.
11888. One woman is dead after a hit-and-run in Kinston. Kinston Police say the accident happened on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Thompson Street at approximately 2:06 a.m. Saturday morning.
11889. A 35-year-old woman was fatally struck while entering a vehicle in a hit-and-run on the city’s West Side Saturday night, according to police.
11890. Three pedestrians are dead after three crashes in Montgomery County, Maryland, Monday night. Two of the deaths involved people who were struck by hit-and-run drivers.
11891. A 15-year-old girl was fatally struck by a school bus in a Brooklyn hit-and-run Monday morning, cops said.
11892. The woman, who was in a crosswalk, began crossing the street when a black vehicle traveling west on Main Street failed to stop for a red light and struck the pedestrian, police said. The vehicle fled, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
11893. Trula said her daughter, 19-year-old Iliana had a bright future. “She was very goal oriented and always wanted to make money, go to school,” said Trula. A future, this grieving mother can now only imagine. “And to have that taken from me, that person took part of me.”
11894. Clayton County police need help identifying a victim of a deadly 2019 hit-and-run.
11895. Kinston (NC) police have now identified a woman who was struck and killed this past weekend by a hit and run driver. Mahaganie Flowers was found lying unresponsive near the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Thompson Street shortly after 2:00 a.m. Saturday.
