EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES — Jillian Lauren, author and wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was shot and injured by Los Angeles police and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after pointing a gun at officers from her front yard amid a manhunt for a hit-and-run suspect in an Eagle Rock neighborhood Tuesday, authorities said.

15578. WADSWORTH TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) — Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in Wadsworth Township that left a cyclist injured Wednesday morning.

I didn’t even know I was bleeding.” Stanley says she was hit by a silver Lexus SUV April 9, which felt like it was going 70-80 miles per hour. “Want to know who did this to me. If you do accidentally hit someone, at least stop and make sure they’re okay. Don’t just run away.”
15581. DARDANELLE, Ark. – Officials with the Dardanelle Police Department said they’ve captured a vehicle that was allegedly used in a hit and run incident involving a middle school student on Wednesday.
15582. SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota mother critically injured in a hit-and-run that killed her two young children in February has died, family and friends confirmed to FOX 13 on Friday.
15583. According to Vallamsetty and two other friends, the women were across the street sitting on a bench talking. Now, the friends are in the hospital. Police said one of the victims is in critical condition. “The right side of the brain. I think she’s suffering with some severe blood loss,” Vallamsetty said. The other victim, police said, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. “She has just undergone a surgery, minor surgery for the jaw,” Vallamsetty said.
15584. EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department is asking for your help in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning, April 12, in Central El Paso that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries.
15585. He was ejected from the scooter and landed in the southbound No. 2 lane. An unknown vehicle ran over the man and fled the scene, police said. The scooter rider died at the scene from his injuries.
