Hit-and-Run America, Vol. MMLVI

An ongoing collection of unsolved hit-and-run cases, with a focus on car/pedestrian incidents, from across the country since Jan. ‘010. If you know something about any of these incidents, or one that I’ve missed, do the right thing and call the police, even anonymously. 15320. BATTLE GROUND Wash. (KPTV) – A woman was severely injured in a hit-and-run on Saturday morning in Battle Ground, and police are looking for the driver, according to the City of Battle Ground.

15321. “His empathy, insight, and passion for uplifting his peers left a lasting impact on all who knew him,” added Bowes. “Fellow Mustangs describe him as a kind, intelligent, and compassionate individual. He was known for listening to others, even those outside his immediate circle, and he often tutored and supported classmates in AP courses.”

15322. Denver Police are looking for the driver of a black truck in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash over the weekend.

15323. West Palm Beach police need your help locating a car involved in a hit-and-run. The crash that left a 60-year-old cyclist in critical condition happened Saturday around 9 p.m.

15324. The Memphis Police Department is investigating a crash that left one man dead. Around 7:17 p.m., officers responded to a pedestrian-struck call on Maryland Avenue near S. Third Street Sunday.

15325. Milwaukee police are searching for a driver who intentionally struck and killed a 41-year-old man with a vehicle after an argument.

15326. LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (KCTV) – Police are still searching for the driver behind a hit-and-run crash earlier this month that may have contributed to a man’s death. Family members identified the victim as 55-year-old Chad Taylor.

15327. The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run. Police said this happened Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue at Rapides Drive. According to police, a female was hit by a vehicle that did not remain on the scene.

15328. A Maine girl is recovering after she was struck by a vehicle in Eliot and wound up unconscious in a cold ditch following the hit-and-run, according to police. Eliot police Sgt. Ron Lund said the 13-year-old was walking along the side of Worster Road to meet her sister at a school bus stop when the vehicle hit her at about 3:30 p.m.

15329. Law enforcement officials in Philadelphia are seeking help from the public to identify an individual who, officials said, was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck a woman on Bustleton Avenue and fled the scene of the crash.
