373. East Rutherford, NJ. May 7. Nine people, including a 20-month old, struck near the new Meadowlands where Mexico was playing Ecuador in soccer. 21-year-old driver later caught.
374. Kansas City, Mo. May 8. Unidentified driver injured when car is struck by a white Lincoln Navigator which was fleeing police trying to pull driver over for erratic driving. Still on the loose.
375. Harvey Cedars, NJ. May 8. 36-year-old off-duty police officer on motorcycle Angelo Vasile fatally struck by a vehicle which fled the scene, but was later found abandoned.
376. Cleveland, Ohio. May 7. 51-year-old army veteran fatally struck and dragged by a hit-and-run driver of a dirty white pickup truck.
377. Shirley, NY. May 7. 37- and 51-year-old women injured when struck by a silver four-door sedan while walking.
378. Cranford, NJ. May 8. 19-year-old man killed, three injured when their vehicle on the Garden State Parkway was hit by a black 2005 BMW which didn’t stop. “The BMW should have damage to the right rear quarter panel, right tail light, gas door and right bumper.”
379. Meridian, Miss. May 8. Details of the initial hit-and-run sketchy, but incident turns into a police chase which nearly ends a green Jeep crashes into a creek, but the driver, “a black male wearing a white t-shirt [for whom police] are currently searching homes and businesses near the area” fled.
380. Milwaukee, Wisc. May 8. 29-year-old woman killed and her 22-year-old cousin injured after being struck by a vehicle being described by police as tan or brown or by someone who tried to chase it down as “a blue Chevy with front end damage.”
381. Kirkland, Wash. May 9. Man struck and killed while running across a highway by “a red 2009 Kia Spectra with the license plate WA 959-YWX. The vehicle is missing its right mirror and likely has extensive damage to the front end and right side.” Registered to a rental car; shouldn’t have ran because they’ll be found if they haven’t already been.
382. Oklahoma City, Ok. May 9. Unidentified pedestrian struck and killed by a white SUV with “nice wheels” which were used to get the driver away from the scene.
383. District Heights, Md. May 8. 17-year-old critically injured when he was struck by a silver or tan minivan with tinted windows.
384. South Bend, Ind. May 9. Two people injured, one critically, when the motorcycle they were on was struck by a car which fled the scene.
385. Spencer, NC. May 10. 5-year-old girl injured when struck by a burgundy four-door car which fled with substantial front-end damage. Driver was described as a white woman.
386. Detroit, Mich. May 9. Man dies while being transferred to the hospital from where he was found clinging to life in the street. Incident allegedly involved an earlier altercatcion; suspect being questioned.
