DENVER – Myles Dolan was struck by a car on Federal Boulevard in November and lived. But two months after the hit-and-run, he is still in a wheelchair and the driver who hit him is still on the run.

Daniel Barnett, 27, was sentenced last year to four years in state prison for a felony hit-and-run causing death for the accident, which killed David Cox, 52, of Richmond. After Barnett finishes his sentence at the federal prison in Lompoc, he will be sent to state prison, said deputy district attorney Steven Bolen. He could be released in 2022.
