4953. College Station, Texas. March 29. 19-year-old woman injured when struck by a newer, possibly 2012 or later, black SUV, possibly a Jeep Liberty or Cherokee, with bluish-colored LED or Halogen headlights which fled the scene.

FLINT, MI – A family has been devastated and continues to ask for the public’s help finding the person responsible in the hit-and-run crash that took the life of Jeffrey Lee in Sept. 2013.
Lee’s family met with area news media along with representatives from Crime Stoppers at the Flint Police Department to ask for anyone with information to come forward in the 34-year-old man’s death. Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest.
Brenda Lee Miracle said she relives the night she got the call about her son over and over. The family just wants the person responsible for Jeffrey’s death finally brought to justice.
“When Jeffrey died that night, a part of me died also,” Miracle said as she fought back tears. “I don’t know why someone would hit him and keep going.”

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. — Police say a Crime Stoppers tip led them to the suspect in Monday night’s fatal hit and run at 933 and Auten Road in South Bend. The 17-year-old suspect was allowed to turn himself in to Mishawaka Police Tuesday night.

Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a person of interest in a recent hit-and-run accident in west Fayetteville.
Police responded to an accident late Thursday, March 20 after a 30-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle while riding her scooter along Wedington Drive. Police said the woman was traveling west through the intersection of Wedington and Steamboat Drive when a black car pulled out in front of her causing the collision.
According to a report, a witness told police the vehicle’s female driver and male passenger got out of their car, but then got back in and fled the scene.
The woman was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center where she was treated for a skull fracture and a broken hand.

LUNENBURG — Police have released an image of the vehicle they believe struck a 26-year-old Fitchburg man who was walking to his job at McDonald’s at the end of February.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a light-colored, possibly white, 1999 to 2003 Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck with a yellow plow.

MANCHESTER, N.H. —Former Manchester police officer Stephen Coco entered a revised plea in connection with an accident last March that left two Bedford teens hurt.
Coco was sentenced to one year behind bars Wednesday afternoon.
Coco allegedly drove off after the teens were thrown into a snow bank. He had been indicted on two felony counts.

A Moulton physician was arrested Tuesday on charges relating to a hit and run accident of a pedestrian on Friday, March 14.

MAHWAH — A 26-year-old man kicked an officer, urinated in his jail cell, and then attempted to urinate on police after he was arrested on charges that he drunkenly drove into a tree and fled the scene, according to Mahwah Police Chief James Batelli.

SAN JOSE — Chris Culliver is in trouble again. And this time it involves far more than inappropriate comments.
The 49ers cornerback was arrested Friday on suspicion of hit-and-run driving and other charges after San Jose police said he struck a bicyclist, fled the scene and rammed a witness’ vehicle before being blocked from leaving until officers arrived.
At the time of his arrest, Culliver, who made national headlines at last year’s Super Bowl for anti-gay comments, was found to be in possession of brass knuckles, police said.

The trial for hit-and-run suspect Daniel Loughnane, which was supposed to begin Monday, has been postponed due to a pending appeal.
Prosecutors say they plan to appeal a judge’s ruling that limits the evidence allowed in trial, particularly the alleged hit-and-run truck.
Luzerne County Judge Michael Vough recently ruled Loughnane’s truck is not admissible at trial because Wilkes-Barre police seized it without a search warrant.
Loughane is facing hit-and-run charges connected to the death of Rebecca McCallick on Hazle Street in Wilkes-Barre on July 24, 2012.

Police said Stephen Penland was riding his motorcycle down South Kirkman Road with two friends when he hit a woman who was crossing the street.
Witnesses told police Penland left the scene, and then tried to get his friend to help him pick up his motorcycle.

A pedestrian was seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver – who later had a change of heart – in Point Loma Friday night.
According to San Diego Police, the 49-year-old pedestrian crossed Rosecrans Ave. near Hugo St. around 8:40 p.m. when he was hit by a 1997 Lexus driven by a 30-year-old man.
The driver fled the scene, leaving the pedestrian with two open fractures on his leg.
However, police said the hit-and-run driver eventually returned to the scene.

Police said a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Shirl Mumie of Shenandoah ran into a 41-year-old male pedestrian, causing minor injuries.
