13990. The police in Seattle are investigating whether two episodes in which cars appeared to target random pedestrians on the same November night are connected, a spokesman said Tuesday. The hit-and-runs “have me extremely concerned,” Adrian Diaz, Seattle’s police chief, said in a video statement. He described them as “callous crimes.”
13991. WILLOWICK, Ohio (WJW) – Police in Willowick are looking for a driver who hit and killed a man crossing a street and then drove off.
13992. A carjacking suspect running from police was struck and killed by a hit and run vehicle Tuesday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.
13993. Tragically, last Friday, one day after an off-duty police officer struck and killed a female pedestrian in River North, a hit-and-run SUV driver fatally struck a woman on foot in East Garfield Park. Also tragic: This was the third pedestrian fatality on or near a one-mile stretch of Congress Parkway in three months.
13994. Police say a woman died after being hit by a car that didn’t stop in North Lawrence Tuesday. According to detectives, the woman was crossing Burnside Avenue walking northbound at Washington Place when she was struck by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
13995. (SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND) – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash that occurred in a Montgomery County work zone Wednesday morning.
13996. Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Accident Investigations Unit are seeking assistance from the public in relation to a fatal hit-and-run incident that took place on Dec. 10 in the 1400 block of Arthur Langford Place SW in south Atlanta. The incident resulted in the death of an unidentified male.
13997. DEFIANCE, Ohio (WTVG) – A 50-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being hit by an unknown vehicle early Sunday morning.
13998. Joseph Marshall, 36, was hit by a vehicle that did not stop. He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he died the next day. On Friday, Huber Heights police said they determined the vehicle involved was a “newer model silver Honda CRV.”
13999. A Louisville man was hit by a vehicle on Baxter Avenue over the weekend, and now police have released images of the suspected car. Jacob Doherty, 24, was hit while crossing Baxter Avenue at Morton Avenue. He was taken to the hospital with a head and knee injury, along with a broken pelvis.

14001. EDEN, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run crash that claimed the life of one man.
14002. “They need to be held accountable for what they did,” said one of the victim’s daughters, Alanna Overholt. “There were some serious injuries, it’s not okay.”
14003. Bellefontaine Police are looking for a suspect connected to a hit-and-run of a pedestrian on Thursday morning. A 16-year-old Bellefontaine City Schools student was crossing an intersection in the South Main Street/Washington Avenue area when he was hit by a vehicle.
14004. Athens police said a man was killed Thursday night in an apparent hit-and-run crash.
14005. A child died in a hospital after being struck by two cars Thursday in Arlington, police said. A little before 4 p.m., Arlington police officers responded to the intersection of Park Springs Boulevard and West Sublett Road. A girl was attempting to cross from the north side of Sublett Road to the south side when she was struck by two vehicles, according to police.
14006. HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WKEF) — Huber Heights Police are now asking for your help after a man was killed earlier this month in a hit and run.
