13978. One person is dead following what police say was a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian that closed a busy roadway in southeast Colorado Springs on Friday afternoon.
13979. DeKalb County police are investigating the death of a man killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday night. At about 8:21 p.m. Friday, officers responded to Panthersville Road and Jaguar Drive to reports of a person hit by a vehicle. When they arrived they found a deceased man on the side of the road.
13980. CHICAGO (CBS) – A pedestrian was killed after being hit by an SUV in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Friday night.
13981. Fort Myers Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left one unidentified man dead. Fort Myers police officers responded to 3332 Palm Beach Boulevard around 2:40 AM on Saturday. Once on scene, Officers found a man with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle that ran from the scene.
13982. KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in Bremerton overnight.
13983. Police, firefighters and paramedics from Libertyville responded about 8:19 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 to a report of pedestrian hit by a vehicle on Milwaukee Avenue near Church Street in Libertyville.
13984. COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 60-year-old man who was struck by two vehicles on the city’s southeast side more than two weeks ago has died, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
13985. A 73-year-old pedestrian was killed early Sunday after a car hit him and drove off in southwest Atlanta, police said.
13986. NEW YORK — Police said a pedestrian was hit and killed by two cars in Queens on Sunday night — and both drivers kept on going.
13987. VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) – The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) is searching for the suspect involved in a hit-and-run on Saturday evening. At around 6:15 p.m., Samuel Johnson, Jr., 16, was walking in the 3900 block of Inner Perimeter Road when he saw a dog that had been hit by an unknown vehicle and tried to assist it, according to VPD. While trying to rescue the injured dog, Johnson was hit and killed by a different vehicle that was driving through the area. VPD said the vehicle did not stop.
13988. A 16-year-old girl is in the hospital after being struck in a hit-and-run late Monday night, according to San Antonio police.
13989. The pedestrian struck by a hit and run driver Monday evening has died from his injuries, Willowick police said.
