2855. Hackettstown, NJ. Aug. 2. 22-year-old man struck and killed by a rusty, beat-up green dump truck which fled the scene.
2856. Jackson, Mich. Aug. 3. 39-year-old man critically injured when struck by a blue Chevy Cobalt which fled the scene.
2857. Phoenix, Az. Aug. 3. Man struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2858. Framingham, Mass. Aug. 3. Girl injured when struck by a 1997 white Ford Taurus which fled the scene.
2859. North Chicago, Iowa. Aug. 3. 34-year-old man struck and killed by a unidentified semi which fled the scene.

2863-64. Goshen, Ind. Aug. 4. Two bicyclists struck and injured by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2865. Mangonia Park, Fla. Aug. 2. Man struck and killed by a white pickup truck, with a metal tool box in the rear and a ladder on top, which fled the scene.
