I don’t know, I mean you always feel like this in the euphoric, post-concert afterglow, but Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band did nothing short of amaze me on Labor Day at Citizens Bank Park.
Such energy. Such tapping into the underlying angst of an evaporating middle class. Such a performance.
Oh, and they played Jungleland. With the Big Man’s nephew Jake Clemons just fucking nailing the sax portions of what I’d argue is the best song in Bruce’s catalog.
Just a phenomenal show. Absolutely phenomenal.
