Eddie Izzard is bringing his “Force Majeure” comedy show to Philly early next month. Newb’s may know him as Dr. Abel Gideon on this season of Hannibal or Sir Miles Axlerod in Cars 2. I thought he was beyond excellent as Wayne Malloy (aka Doug Rich) in the absurdly short-lived series The Riches.
All that’s neither here nor there, though. What’s important today is getting word out that Westbeth Entertainment cannot be trusted to ensure Mr. Izzard actually gets on stage at the Forrest Theatre on May 3, 4 and 5. This, because they’re advertising the wrong address for the show. An illustration below shows the difference between the advertised 111 Walnut St. and the real address, 1114 Walnut St.
(Fine, maybe 114 is on the other side of Walnut, but whatever, he’d head across the street from those walls.)
