Say you wake up at 7:30 a.m. to catch a Premier League soccer match and you notice this really, really creepy looking guy standing pitch-side. Do you a) expect him to rip his sweats open to expose a dirty bomb or b) figure the side he’s rooting for, Everton, to which Landon Donovan is on loan, will drop two more last 16-minutes-of-the-game goals on, and unexpectedly defeat, Rooney and the rest of the Man U. twits?
If you answered B, you be correct.
But if you went on to answer that Rooney will be a nightmare for the ‘Mericans in the Group stage of the World Cup, well, you’d probably be correct as well.

    Everton winning was the highlight of my weekend since City drew Liverpool 🙁

    Caught that one, too. You probably didn’t much like it, but I thought it was a great scoreless tie. City just needs to find the friggin’ net.
