Here’s what super-lawyer/jitbag Emmett Madden had to say about his client being arrested in connection with the tragic hit-and-run death of Bulgarian ballerina Polina Kadiyska, per philly.com:
Madden contended that Kadiyska crossed the street mid-block and ran into Barnes’ path. He denied that Barnes disregarded the red light. As for him fleeing, Barnes “might have gotten scared initially (and left), but he came back to make sure the girl was OK,” Madden said, adding that he hadn’t yet reviewed police reports but had talked to Barnes and “witnesses.”
Police reports indicate Kadiyska had the right-of-way when she crossed at the crosswalk, and that Barnes blew through the light.
That’s right, Emmett thought it best to blame the dead girl before her body’s even autopsied. And maintain that the dirtbag who’s paying him blood money returned to the scene later out of the kindness of his heart.
If you see him walking in Center City, do me a favor and spit in his face on principle alone.

Barnes was drunk…he was coming from a party celebrating his 19th birthday. He and his passenger fled the scene; they came back because they forgot something in the trunk and fled again before police arrived. The witnesses pointed out which way they went and the piece of shit duo were arrested a block and a half away. Then Barnes stated his car was stolen.
So as for Madden, one day he will have to bury one of his own. Karma is a bitch with sharp teeth and a long memory.
