I had the good fortune of finding myself at Cheeques gentlemen’s club in Linden, NJ with several friends from college on Saturday afternoon.
It’s a nice place. There is a creek behind it that runs under an abandoned train bridge of some sort. I saw a duck floating atop the water and a turtle swimming under it.
I also saw the food menu. It offered something called “Bar Pie” and a tilapia salad. I found these offering curious to say the least, but did not order either. I did, however, ask the bartendtress how often the tilapia salad gets ordered. She could not recall any instances of this happening.
I would not order the tilapia salad at Cheeques, either.
I don’t think these types of establishment should serve seafood. It runs counter to common sense.
