One of the new additions to the online “I’m a Mormon” video campaign features rock star Brandon Flowers.
Flowers is the lead singer for the pop rock band “The Killers.” The video features him talking about his career, his family and his faith.
He calls his career “a dream come true.”
“There are a lot of connotations that come along with rock music – it’s usually very sex driven or very money driven,” he explains on the video. “I realized early on that wasn’t the road for me. Maybe because of the foundations that were laid in my life — my mom taking me to church — I wanted to take a different road, I guess.”
