As in, did you ever hear about this TLC show “Myrtle Manor“?
Me either, till I saw this mugshot of one of its “stars” via Facebook onaccounta following folk from my old Florence, SC stomping grounds.
Suffice it to say, this show piques my interest, not the least of which reasons why’s cause its stars keep gittin locked up. I might could livetweet one of these shows soon.
Per WBTW in the Palmetto State:
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Two stars of the TLC reality TV show ‘Myrtle Manor’ were arrested by City of Myrtle Beach Police early Sunday morning making it the third reality star arrested in the same amount of days.
Lindsay Brooke Colbert, 21, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Taylor Jonathan Burt, 28, was arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor younger than 16-years-old.
According to the City of Myrtle Beach Police Department website, no bond has been placed on Burt.
The police report indicates the incident happened at 1101 North Oak Street.
The report says the officer spoke to the victim, with her mother present, and the victim said she had “sexual relations” with a 28-year-old male.
The incident is still under investigation.
Burt’s occupation is listed as a “club promoter.”
According to the police report, Colbert was pulled over for going 62 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone. She pulled over on Waccamaw Boulevard just off of the US Highway 501 North ramp.
The police report states Colbert’s speech “appeared slurred” and that she was “dropping her paperwork” in the car.
The officer then wanted to give Colbert a field sobriety test, according to the police report, but Colbert refused to get out of the car and asked to call her attorney.
A field sobriety test did end up happening, according to the report. The report states Colbert said to the officer, “Are you giving me expletive because I’m on the show.”
Once in jail, the report states, Colbert blew a blood-alcohol-content level of .15%. In South Carolina, the legal limit is .08% BAC.
