Today in Amazing Photo Captions comes this Getty Images jawn from a YahooSports story about Shaq’s jersey getting retired in L.A. the other night. In it, “an unidentified Laker fan” sports O’Neal’s No. 34.
I can see how it would be tough to identify that Laker fan. After all, Flea is from a band called the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Red Hot Chili Peppers probably aren’t well known in southern California.
Plus, it’s been about five years since Flea, then a Lakers-fan blogger, was listed third in NBA.com’s “Top 10 Celebrity Lakers Fans” collection.
