Ever since I saw the “Freedom Kids” performance at a Donald Trump rally last month, it was incumbent upon me to involve them in a tiebreaker at Murphy’s Saloonery Quizzo. The lyrics, I printed up. The song, I uploaded to my iPod. But then weeks passed, and no tie-breaker.
Until Tuesday, Feb. 23. While I still had the lyrics on hand, I left the iPod at home. So, we had to set the Freedom Kids lyrics to an American and Canadian anthem. It was a mess. But it was a mess of hilarity I won’t soon forget. You can watch it below (H/T to April O. for providing footage from across the bar).
Considering that this song deserves a fair hearing with the proper background music, I will include the lyrics below, for it WILL be the subject of another Quizzo tiebreaker.
