So, yeah, this happened a mile and a half from our home.
A 22-year-old woman was forced into a car and abducted from the 100 block of W. Coulter St. on Sunday night, and police are seeking the public’s help to find her.
A witness reported hearing Carlesha Freeland-Gaither yelling for help as she was forced into a four-door sedan around 9:40 p.m.
Freeland-Gaither, of the 100 block of W. Hansberry St., dropped her eyeglasses and cell phone into the street, and kicked out the driver-side rear window, before the car pulled away. [NewsWorks]
