I’m not one to hide behind a screen name and spout off online. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s just that I’m much more comfortable attaching my name to my sentiments.
And one of those sentiments is the fact that I’m not 100 percent convinced that the whole Curt Schilling “Bloody Sock Game” is on the up-and-up. I made note of this last night when FC Barcelona’s Neymar got his ankle gashed during a heatedly excellent match vs. Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
So anyway, word got back to him (he blocked me earlier this month for God knows why) about my sentiment and it didn’t seem as if he was in adept-reader mode, as the following exchange makes clear.
Mr. Schilling, a big conspiracy fan, is free to respond to assumptions that his sock was merely treated with ketchup.
