On Saturday night, Danny Garcia “will defend his unified super lightweight world title for the fourth consecutive time, this time against Mauricio Herrera (20-3, 7 KOs) in a 12-round bout.”
A couple weeks ago, I headed up to lower Northeast Philly for media day at Garcia’s gym. (Read that story here). Yesterday, he arrived at San Juan Intl. where he said, “I am not coming here to lose my title. I am going to come and defend like always. It’s not going to be easy. It’s going to be a tough fight but I have prepared like I always prepare. I am ready to defend my title and win.”
