From the Patriot Ledger comes a tale so heartwarming people everywhere will rush out to breed so they, too, can host a baby shower as excellent as the one in Stoughton, Mass. To wit:
Bottles were being thrown, punches were flying, and furniture was smashed at the Club Luis de Camoes at 76 Porter St. as small children were nearby – and police recorded numerous fights there on video cameras attached to their tasers, said McGowan, who responded to the scene. Four people, including a 14-year-old boy, now face charges in the incident.
“Oh my God. It was just nonstop. There would be a skirmish in this corner, we’d go over to address it, and then another one would start up somewhere else,” McGowan said Sunday. “It was a nightmare.”
Police said the fights were happening in front of small children at the party, and officers attempted to protect the children and break up the fights at the same time.
