Joe Frazier’s Tomb/Monument Was Unveiled In A Philadelphia Cemetery On Saturday

At a Saturday morning event inside Ivy Hill Cemetery, the final resting place of boxing legend Smokin’ Joe Frazier was unveiled.

It’s a newly designed tomb that his children had built with, according to daughter Renae-Frazier Martin, some help from current-day boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. Saturday’s event (Marvis and Jackie weren’t there, I’m told) came just three days after the one-year anniversary of Frazier’s passing.

Shown above is Frazier’s youngest son Derek, standing next to the monument in Northwest Philadelphia’s Cedarbrook section.

Frazier’s remains were transferred into the tomb on Wednesday, which was the one-year anniversary of his death.
