If you know me, you know I have a deep-seated thing for The Killers. And if you know me, you know why I always will.
I’m not gonna say this Thursday night performance on Letterman topped their ’09 rendition of A Dustland Fairytale on the same program. That was one of the best fucking performances I’ve ever seen on a late night show.
But, I am going to say that the gusto with which Brandon Flowers wailed Runaways on Letterman the other night took a song I really, really liked a lot to a whole other level. You need to watch it. And you need to take note of how genuine a Killers fan Letterman comes off as.
