Hit-and-Run, Vol. CVI

An ongoing collection of unsolved hit-and-run cases, with a focus on car/pedestrian incidents, from across the country since Jan. ‘010. If you know something about any of these incidents, or one that I’ve missed, do the right thing and call the police, even anonymously.

675. Columbus, Ga. July 22. 28-year-old man on a bicycle suffers non-life-threatening injuries after have been possibly intentionally struck by a 1998 Cadillac which fled the scene (outside a Circle K).

676. Des Moines, Iowa. July 22. Mother and her 1-year-old son not badly hurt after being struck by a blue or teal Pontiac Grand Am. “She told police she yelled ‘Didn’t you see me!’ at the driver. The driver then sped away.”

677. Louisville, Ky. July 21.

678. Marmora, NJ. July 23. Pedestrian airlifted to the hospital after being struck by a dark Scion which fled the scene.

679. Newark, NJ. July 22. 5-year-old girl struck and killed by “a dark blue or black late model Mercedes Benz” that was allegedly speeding. The car, with four men inside, fled.
