14436. Police are looking for the driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Thornton before fleeing. The crash happened in the 2500 block of East 120th Avenue, near Steele Street, around 6 a.m. Sunday. When responders arrived, they found a man dead from the crash.
14437. GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) – Authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident that happened in Goldsboro on Saturday.
14438. Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a hit-and-run driver who struck a child on a bicycle Sunday afternoon in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County. According to police, the child was hit around 2:30 p.m. while traveling south on the 300 block of Gettysburg Pike. A witness observed a dark blue sedan hit the back of the bicycle, causing the child to flip over and hit the ground, according to police.
14439. OCEANSIDE, Calif — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver in a hit-and-run that killed a cyclist in Oceanside near State Route 76 and Singh Way on Thursday, March 21.
14440. On March 24 at approximately 9:30 pm JPD Precinct 2 Officers responded to the report of a Hit and Run that resulted in a fatality involving a pedestrian.

14442. Police have released photos depicting a person of interest linked to a fatal Grand Rapids hit-and-run earlier this month.
14443. The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a hit-and-run suspect. On Wednesday around 5 p.m., Lieutenant M. Hunsucker responded to a crash in the parking area of a business on Premier Boulevard. The car involved in the crash fled the scene, police said.
14444. A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Preston Highway in Okolona on Monday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
14445. One person is dead after a hit-and-run Monday night in Hueytown. The Hueytown Police Department says a male was found dead on the side of the road near the intersection of Hueytown Road and Walker Avenue at approximately 6 a.m. on March 26, 2024.
14446. Police said they’re now trying to locate the vehicle and driver that fled the scene. Yonkers Police Commissioner Christopher Sapienza was at the investigation and told News 12 that a person was injured during the incident. However, he said he didn’t want to comment on the severity of the injury at the time of the interview as the investigation was still unfolding.
14447. Two Dallas Fire-Rescue first responders were among the three people hurt by a hit-and-run driver. Police say DFR was working an accident scene when a car crashed into them.
14448. SACO (WGME) — Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk in Saco and then left the scene. Police say a pedestrian was using a crosswalk on Free Street on March 20 around 9:45 a.m. when a car made a right turn from Free Street onto Main Street and hit the pedestrian in the crosswalk.
14449. COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 51-year-old man died after he was struck while crossing the street in north Columbus Monday night. Police are looking for the driver involved in the deadly crash.
14450. Investigators say they still haven’t tracked down the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Burlington County earlier this month, and they are asking witnesses to help them out. A 75-year-old woman who had been reported missing turned out to be the victim in the crash, authorities said.
14451. Police say a man was hit and killed while trying to cross the street in the Spring Branch area, and the search is now on for the person who hit him. According to Houston police, the man was violently thrown after the crash in the 7400 block of Long Point Drive near Antoine Drive just before 8 p.m. Tuesday.
14452. “If you met Shawn, you were a friend of Shawn’s,” said Milton Brannon, Shawn’s best friend. “It was very easy to get into his circle of friends and impossible to get out. Once you met Shawn, you loved Shawn.”
14453. Investigators in Fort Worth are trying to find out what happened leading up to the death of a pedestrian found Monday morning in the 9600 block of eastbound Interstate 30, according to police.

14455. Arriving officers found a man, David Horbal of North Branford, who was dead and appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. The vehicle left the scene, according to police.
14456. Virginia State Police continue to seek the public’s help with identifying a vehicle that struck a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday in Shenandoah County.
14457. The Lubbock Police Department announced that Dakevon Blaylock, 23, was arrested on Wednesday and accused of the 2023 fatal hit and run that left 17-year-old Tyatianna Weatherspoon dead.
14458. Louisville police are searching for the driver who hit a pedestrian with their vehicle Thursday morning and fled the scene. The man who was hit by the vehicle died.
14459. Philadelphia police are searching for the driver of a Honda Accord who struck and killed a pedestrian on Thursday night in the city’s Grays Ferry section and then took off. Police say a 64-year-old man was crossing at the intersection of 30th Street and Grays Ferry Avenue just before 10 p.m. when he was struck by a driver who sped through a red light.
14460. A 69-year-old man was critically injured in a hit-and-run on the West Side Thursday night, Chicago police said.
14461. One person was injured after a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning in Denver. The crash happened near West Colfax Avenue and North Speer Boulevard involving a car and a scooter, according to police. One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
14462. “It was a really loud crash,” said McCrea. “It sounded like something on a construction site. And I looked over and I saw a lady on the ground Over there just laying on the ground. I immediately knew a hit-and-run happened. And I was expecting a dead person.”
