15452. Officers with the High Point Police Department’s Traffic Unit are looking for help in identifying a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run. On Wednesday, just before 5 p.m., officers said they responded to the intersection of Oakview Street and Rolling Road for a hit-and-run with injuries. The victim, a 72-year-old man, told officers he was walking his dog on Oakview Street when a black SUV hit him.
15453. An investigation is underway after a bicyclist was struck in Coconut Grove by a hit-and-run driver, police said.
15454. A woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Winston-Salem on Friday, Feb. 28, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department. At around 7:06 p.m., April Dew Gregory, 45, was walking in the roadway on the 500 block of Waughtown Street when she was hit by a car, police said. The car drove away before officers arrived.

15456. San Antonio police are looking for a driver who injured a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash.

15463. “My brother was very sweet, he was very artistic and creative. He was very smart, hands on,” said Tia Friday, Mattox’s sister. Cobb County police said Mattox was hit by a car and killed Sunday night as he walked on the sidewalk along South Gordon Road. They said the driver left the scene. “He was there for me, supporting as a big brother and I don’t get that no more. I can’t have it back,” she said.

15468. A 68-year-old woman has died after a hit-and-run on the West Side last week, Chicago police said.
15469. A woman was killed after a hit-and-run crash in southwest Baltimore Monday. According to police, around 11:20 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the 100 block of South Hilton Street for a report of a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian. Police found a woman suffering from serious injuries and she was taken to a hospital where she would later die from her injuries.
