17190. The Simpsonville Police Department reported officers responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian on Thursday evening.
17191. A driver in Hope Mills screamed, “You better run,” as he sped toward a teen. The driver then hit the teen with his vehicle and fled the scene.
17192. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB+WAVE) — A man was killed Thursday night after being hit by a vehicle in Jeffersontown. According to the Jeffersontown Police Department, officers responded around 10:20 p.m. on reports of a collision involving a pedestrian in the northbound lanes of South Hurstbourne Parkway at Blairwood Road.
17193. PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — U.S. Marshals have arrested a man in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a teenager in Northeast Philadelphia. Robert Reynolds, 22, was taken into custody Thursday on the 9200 block of Blue Grass Road.
17194. RAYTOWN, Mo. (KCTV) – The family of a 5-year-old girl killed in a hit-and-run in Raytown is calling for the driver to come forward. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating and have not made an arrest.

17226. Wilondja Mtendji, 33, of Nashville, died after being hit by a tractor-trailer at about 8:15 p.m. on Interstate 24 East in Nashville, according to police. After the collision, he was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The first responders found a victim in one of the northbound lanes, with serious injuries. According to witnesses, the vehicle that struck the pedestrian had left the scene.

17240. Denver Police are looking for the driver of an SUV that was involved in a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning. At about 2:41 a.m., the suspect vehicle was going southbound on Colorado Boulevard when it hit a pedestrian crossing the road at Bruce Randolph Avenue, according to Denver Police. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
17241. Police are searching for a driver who abandoned a Toyota Prius after fatally striking a man Thursday on I-280 in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol said.
