16430. A woman is dead after being struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday morning. According to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, just before 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of South Girls School Road and Rockville Road on a report of a person struck by a vehicle. Officers found an adult female near the roadway in the 500 block of South Girls School Road. The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition where she later died.
16431. DES MOINES, Iowa — Authorities have released the name of the man who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Drake Neighborhood.
16432. People watched in shock as Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated what they declared as a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian at around 4:30 p.m.
16433. A 40-year-old woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Panorama City Friday. The suspect was entering a shopping center between Arminta Street and Blythe Street from Van Nuys Boulevard when they struck the pedestrian around 4:55 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

16435. Honolulu police are investigating a hit-and-run vehicle crash in Salt Lake that sent a 4-year-old boy to a hospital in serious condition Saturday afternoon. At about 3:15 p.m., a motorist was traveling west on Catlin Lane when she struck a boy riding a bicycle on the road, police said. “The unidentified female motorist later left the scene traveling eastbound on Catlin Lane without stopping to render aid or provide information,” according to a summary from the Honolulu Police Department’s Traffic Division.

16437. Michigan State Police officials are investigating after a motorist walking on the shoulder of an interstate exit in Detroit to get more gas for his car was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash Saturday afternoon, the agency said.
16438. MAILI, Hawaii (KHON2) — Honolulu police are searching for a driver who fled after striking a pedestrian early Tuesday morning, Dec. 23, along Farrington Highway, leaving a 33-year-old man critically injured.
