559. Westminster, Md. June 20. 40-year-old man struck and killed by a vehicle which fled the scene. Evidence left on the highway indicated the car may have been a “forest-green 1996 or 1997 Saturn S-1 series four-door sedan or station wagon with gold pinstripes.”
560. Salt Lake City, Utah. June 22. 7-year-old boy critically injured when, while riding a bike (pictured), he was struck by a “black van or a tan pickup with a tan stripe” which witnesses say didn’t slow down afterwards.
561. Huntsville, Ala. June 21. 44-year-old man injured after being struck by a white Sebring driven by someone he asked to leave his home and “it looked like they were ready to, but the driver hit the accelerator instead. … Witnesses said the driver hit Payne once, then turned around to run over him again, but a woman pulled Payne into some bushes.” No arrests yet.
562. Grand Blanc, Mich. June 18. 65-year-old woman walking her dog injured after being struck by a “gray or silver General Motors sedan from the 1990” which fled the scene.
563. Midland, Texas. June 18. 45-year-old man riding motorcycle injured after being “struck by a black Chevrolet Half Ton Truck” which left the scene.
564. Abilene, Texas. June 22. 33-year-old injured after being struck by a vehicle of which the driver was located, but he didn’t know it had hit someone.
565. Greensboro, NC. June 22. 37-year-old man suffers non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a green Honda Accord which fled the scene.

A near-miss hit-and-run (well, a car was hit, but a group, including children was missed) in Chicago, a place I hear, from Chicagoans is as bad, if not worse, than Philly when it comes to who-gives-a-fuck-attitude driving.
