5126. Reno, Nev. May 8. 24-year-old man injured when struck by a white or silver SUV which fled the scene.
5127. Fort Collins, Colo. May 8. 32-year-old man injured when struck by a dark red or maroon sedan which fled the scene.
5128. Brooklyn, NY. May 10. 27-year-old man fatally struck by a black Nissan Altima which fled the scene.

5141. Corpus Christi, Texas. May 11. 56-year-old woman injured when struck by a black pickup truck which fled the scene.
5142. Birdsboro, Pa. 6-year-old boy on bicycle injured when struck by a dark-blue or black Toyota Camry which fled the scene.

According to Gulfport police, the suspect’s vehicle hit a van with three people inside on Seaway Road shortly

In the first major break in a hit-and-run that killed a 2-year-old at a birthday party, authorities may have found the vehicle involved in the deadly crash.
San Bernardino Police impounded the vehicle Friday after a tipster alerted them to its location. They are not releasing any further information about the vehicle as they await search warrants to further their investigation.
Family members weren’t initially aware of the information and were happy there was progress being made in the case.
“She deserves justice, she deserves more, she deserves a life,” Deerica Jones, the toddler’s cousin said.

A man suspected in a hit-and-run that left a Leominster teenager seriously injured has been accused of intimidating a witness in the case.

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. – A 23-year-old suspect in a hit and run that killed a teenager and injured a woman and two children has been formally charged with 11 counts, including vehicular homicide, DUI, child abuse and menacing.
Jefferson County District Attorney Peter Weir on Friday also charged Alton Kirkland with leaving the scene of an accident involving death, assault, reckless driving and driving with his driver’s license under restraint. Kirkland is charged with two vehicular homicide counts, one alleging that he was driving under the influence.

A man riding his bicycle is the victim of the city’s latest hit and run accident.
It happened Sunday afternoon near Crosstown and Port.
Police say it was no random act and the person behind the wheel was the victim’s significant other.
According to witnesses, the man was on his bicycle riding along Trenton Street when he yelled to his significant other, “Happy Mother’s Day.” Witnesses say the driver behind the wheel stepped on the gas and targeted the man.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Police say a 31-year-old man has been arrested after he drove to a Louisiana state police headquarters while drunk to file an accident report.

SEATTLE — State troopers are investigating a bike-on-bike hit-and-run collision that seriously injured a female cyclist late last month on the Interstate 90 bridge bike path.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a woman was riding her bike April 30 eastbound on the I-90 bridge when she was struck by a cyclist heading the opposite direction. According to the woman, the suspect veered to the left, hitting her. The female suspect initially stopped and asked if the victim was “OK,” but rode away a short time later while the victim remained on the ground.
The female victim suffered serious injuries to her elbow and hip, troopers said.

A Beloit woman died Sunday night after she was hit by a vehicle on the city’s west side, and the suspect driver apparently was shot and wounded by police.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.- Mandy Wrigley said she is continuing something that is very important to her and her family.
“I want to find my son’s killer,” she told First Coast News.
It’s a mission she has endured since April 13, 2011.
That was the day her son, 23-year-old Bryan Wrigley, was killed by a hit and run driver on County Road 214 in St. John’s County.
“You never get over it,” she said. “You just somehow get through it day-to-day.”
