6254. Tulsa, Okla. Feb. 6. 57-year-old man injured when struck by a gold or tan vehicle which fled the scene.
6255. Bothell, Wash. Feb. 9. Young girl injured when struck by an olive-green Subaru Outback, likely a 2001-to-2005 model, which fled the scene.

Friends and family of Justin Flowers gathered at his high school Tuesday morning to remember the 15-year-old who was killed in a hit-and-run crash exactly one year ago.
A memorial garden for Justin Flowers was dedicated at J.P. Taravella High School in Coral Springs. Flowers was a freshman with dreams of one day becoming a dancer. One of his teachers had his chair engraved with his name and “Class of 2017.” That chair stood in the garden with a single rose, a very stark reminder of Flowers’ absence.

Scranton police say 25-year-old Tiffany Marie Timko struck Betty Sawkulich, 32, Wednesday, three days before her arrest, while driving on South Main Avenue.
Sawkulich, mother to seven minor children, remained in critical condition Sunday night, according to a Geisinger Community Medical Center spokeswoman.

MILPITAS, Calif. — Police are searching for a Milpitas man in connection with a hit-and-run collision with a garbage truck that killed a 14-year-old girl last week.
Alex Alcazar, 23, has been identified as the registered owner of a silver, two-door 1992 Cadillac El Dorado involved in the Feb. 4 collision with a garbage truck at North Milpitas Boulevard and Jacklin Road, police said.
The driver of the Cadillac drove away from the scene, but police officers followed a trail of debris for about a quarter of a mile and located the car stopped at a curb in the 800 block of Coyote Street, police said.
There they found 14-year-old Cynthia Ramirez Becerra, a San Jose resident, down on the ground beside the Cadillac with severe visible injuries.

A 32-year-old woman struck by a car in West Scranton eight days ago has died.
Betty Sawkulich died at 12:53 p.m. at Geisinger Medical Center from injuries she suffered in a Feb. 4 hit and run, Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland said.
Police have charged Tiffany Marie Timko of Hazleton with aggravated assault by vehicle and related counts, alleging Ms. Timko struck Ms. Sawkulich in the 700 block of South Main Avenue Feb. 4 and then drove away.

Scott Michael Flynn, 42, was extradited from East Texas this week and charged with manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid.
