5926. Lantham, Md. Nov. 23. 34-year-old man on bicycle fatally struck by a 2010-12 Nissan Altima which fled the scene.
5927. Winston-Salem, NC. Nov. 22. 12-year-old boy injured when struck by a white Lincoln SUV which fled the scene.
5928-29. Las Vegas, Nev. Nov. 24. 63-year-old man killed and 18-month-old granddaughter in stroller injured when struck by a dark grey Honda Civic which fled the scene.
5930. St. Augustine, Fla. Nov. 23. 26-year-old man on bicycle fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
5931-32. Albertville, Ala. Nov. 22. 15- and 19-yea-old bicyclists injured when struck by a Ford F-250 which fled the scene.
5933. Lexington, Ky. Nov. 25. Woman injured when intentionally struck by a vehicle which fled the scene.

5935. Minneapolis, Minn. Nov. 25. Woman injured when struck by a dark Subaru Outback which fled the scene of a Ferguson protest.
5936. Long Beach, Cal. Nov. 16. Daughter of former Ala. governor injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
5937. Rose Twp., Mich. Nov. 25. 21-year-old man fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
5938. Linden, NJ. Nov. 26. 33-year-old man fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
5939. Kansas City, Kan. Nov. 25. 2-year-old boy injured when struck by a older white four-door Chrysler which fled the scene.
5940. San Jacinto, Cal. Nov. 26. Juvenile suffers head injuries when struck by a white or grey four-door sedan which fled the scene.
5941. Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Nov. 19. 20-year-old woman injured when struck by a silver four-door sedan which fled the scene.
5942-44. Boston, Mass. Nov. 27. Man in his 40s killed and 29-year-old woman and 20-year-old woman injured when struck by vehicles which fled the scene in three separate incidents.

DURHAM (WTVD) — While cyclists in Durham are using a recent hit-and-run death to call for increased awareness on the roads, the victim’s family is calling for justice.
Tony Turner, 56, was laid to rest earlier this week after he was hit and killed while riding his bike in Durham. His loss is one that has left his family stunned and grieving.
“They said he was just lying in the middle of the street, there was no one around, he had been knocked out of his shoes, out of his pants, he was just lying there stretched out on his back,” said his brother, Roby A. Turner.

Police have charged two people involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run back in June – the suspected driver and the victim.
Chelsea Grischott, 22, of Lebanon was charged with felony accident involving serious bodily injury and hit-and-run, according to a news release. The victim, Darwin Almonte, 27, of Lebanon was also charged with public intoxication as a result of the incident.

PARAMUS — Authorities on Monday said the 37-year-old woman struck by a hit-and-run driver near Bergen Community College has died from her injuries and asked for the public’s help in finding the motorist who fled.

NORTH BERGEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) – Police have released a picture of the driver wanted in a hit-and-run crash that left two brothers severely injured in North Bergen.
The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service are looking for Rogelio Chavix-Tacen, who was last seen in Fairview.

The 2008 hit-and-run death of Jered Pendleton in Goodyear is a mystery that’s never been solved. Officer Brad Hardin with the Goodyear Police Department was a subject of the investigation, but was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing.
But an independent investigation by the law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy found members of the Goodyear Police Department worked to protect one of their own.

FHP has identified that driver as 42-year-old Angela Licciardi and they said charges are pending.

The driver of the other car followed Khadka, and saw him throwing beer cans from his car as he fled the scene.

A Hells Angels member on federal probation was behind bars Wednesday for allegedly running down a pedestrian following a confrontation outside an Oceanside bar.
Anthony James Medvec, 31, was arrested late Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder about eight hours after the hit-and-run crash on South Coast Highway at Cassidy Street.

A Hamburg woman charged in a fatal hit-and-run last summer had been out drinking with her mother at bars that night, a prosecutor said Wednesday at a bail hearing in Erie County Court.
Ashley Sawicki, 21, who lives on Harvard Street with her mother, Michelle Rubeck, told Hamburg police that they had been visiting bars before Jennifer Martello was hit on Big Tree Road around 12:30 a.m. July 15, Assistant District Attorney Kelley A. Omel told Judge Sheila A. DiTullio.
Omel said Sawicki admitted she hit a pedestrian that night, stopped her car, got out, saw a woman on the ground who was not moving, then got back in the car and took off. Her mother also was in the car.
