5772. Lorain, Ohio. Oct. 17. 17-year-old girl injured struck by a red Honda Civic. which fled the scene.
5773. Lignum, Va. Oct. 17. 72-year-old man fatally struck by a red vehicle which fled the scene.
5774. Glendale, Ariz. Oct. 17. Woman in her 20s injured when struck by a white commercial van which fled the scene.
5775. Des Moines, Iowa. Oct. 18. 55-year-old man fatally struck by a vehicle which fled the scene; driver later arrested.
5776. Hollywood, Cal. Oct. 18. 46-year-old woman fatally struck by a white Mercedes Benz which fled the scene.
5777. Oklahoma City, Okla. Oct. 17. 3-year-old boy injured when struck by a white truck which fled the scene.
5778. Bowling Green, Ky. Oct. 16. Man injured when struck by a green Toyota which fled the scene.

SAN DIEGO – Friends and family members are organizing a fundraiser for a woman severely injured in a hit-and-run crash in Ocean Beach.
Katie Conner came to San Diego from Maryland to live the California Dream. Instead, she’s in the hospital in serious condition.
On Oct. 12, the 23-year-old was riding her bicycle home after 1 a.m. when she was hit in or near the intersection of West Point Loma and Sunset Cliffs boulevards.
The driver took off, witnesses told police.
