7019. Essex, Md. Aug. 17. 44-year-old woman fatally struck by a vehicle which fled the scene; driver later located.
7020-21. Vallejo, Cal. Aug. 16. Two pedestrians struck, one fatally, by a white pickup from which the driver fled the scene.
7022. Magnolia, Del. Aug. 16. 77-year-old man injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
7023. Fulton, Ga. Aug. 16. 36-year-old man fatally struck by a van which fled the scene.
7024. Fulton, Ga. Aug. 17. Man fatally struck by a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee which fled the scene.

7031. Fernandina Beach, Fla. Aug. 18. 35-year-old man believed to have been fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
7032. Woodlawn, Md. Aug. 16. 21-year-old man injured when struck by a dark blue or black 2009 to 2015 Toyota Venza which fled the scene.
7033. Madison, Wisc. Aug. 18. 40-year-old man injured when struck by a dark-colored sedan which fled the scene.
7034. Chicago, Ill. Aug. 18. 23-year-old man injured when struck by a white vehicle which fled the scene.

DES MOINES, Iowa —The bicyclist seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Sunday has died.
The man accused of driving off after striking a bicyclist has a lengthy criminal record, including child endangerment, OWI, assault and a driving-while-barred arrest.
Des Moines police said 41-year-old Gregary Wade Franck suffered serious head trauma after a driver hit Franck from behind. He died Tuesday as a result of his injuries.

PLANTATION, Fla. – Plantation police continue to search for the driver of a vehicle who struck and killed a man after a crash in Plantation late last month.
Patrick Kallman, 31, and his girlfriend, Jennifer Jacon, 37, were killed July 30 after Kallman’s truck struck a tree at the intersection of South Pine Island Road and Peters Road.
Jacon was ejected from the truck and died at the scene. Authorities said Kallman was struck by a second vehicle after he got out of his truck and was trying to check on his girlfriend.

An anonymous handwritten letter helped police link a 16-year-old driver to a hit-and-run collision that badly injured a skateboarder earlier this month, Santa Rosa police officials said.

The teen and a friend were riding their bicycles home on FM 646 late Thursday night when a black pickup truck hit Bleimeyer from behind, killing him instantly. The driver never stopped but a vehicle matching its description was found suspiciously hidden behind a home three miles from the crime scene the next morning.

The lieutenant said physical evidence from the crash scene contradicted Noah’s statement.
