7003. Santa Fe, NM. Aug. 13. 16-year-old male fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene. (Update: Vehicle located)
7004. Worcester, Mass. Aug. 13. 25-year-old man badly injured when struck by a dark-colored sedan which fled the scene.
7005. Washington Twp., NJ. Aug. 13. Pedestrian injured when struck by a vehicle which fled the scene; driver later located.

The driver immediately fled the scene, but authorities managed to locate the vehicle responsible. Police found the 2008 Black Kia Optima nearby on the 1500 block on W. Diamond Street.

Reginald Loewen, 36, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident involving serious injury, a Class 4 felony that carries with it up to 6 years in prison on top of up to $500,000 in fines. License revocation is also likely, though that will be handled by the Colorado Department of Revenue. Loewen also pleaded guilty to careless driving resulting in injury, a traffic offense punishable by jail time, for the March 10 crash that left Connor Walsh unable to walk.

The bad trip continued Friday for a Waukesha man police say was naked and high on LSD when he rammed his truck into several squad cars on Tuesday.
Leif Erickson, 21, was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment, one count hit-and-run causing injury and one count of fleeing and eluding, all of which are felonies. He was also charged with obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse, both misdemeanors.
He admitted being on LSD on Tuesday night when he rammed his pickup into two parked squad cars, lost control during the ensuing chase and hit a squad car again before crashing.
The woman accused of supplying him drugs, Katie Wiedenbeck, 31, of Waukesha was charged Thursday with one count of felony heroin possession and misdemeanor charges of THC and drug paraphernalia possession.

The family of Allison Blanding, a 24-year-old who died after being struck by a dirt biker who then fled the scene, is “desperately pleading for some answers.”
Lorren Hayman held a news conference Saturday on behalf of Blanding’s mother, Marva, near the Northwest Baltimore site where Blanding was struck. Hayman, who is Marva Blanding’s godchild, was joined by faith-based supporters Phylis Lagree and Kimberly Lagree as she asked the public to come forward with information about the dirt bike rider, and for city government to create alternative solutions for illegal dirt bike riders in the city.
