Defense attorney Stacie Wollman told the judge 84-year-old Benjamin Carr, of Rehoboth Beach, was willing to work with the victim to resolve the matter, and the judge put the case on the stet docket, meaning prosecutors can revisit the charges within the next three years.

Doctor Dominic’s injuries were severe but he’s doing a lot better. He went home from the hospital on Wednesday and released a statement in hopes of finding the driver who hit him. “My job is to heal people and save lives. I would hate to think this person could do this to someone else,” the statement read.
Ben Medrano said, “Very sad, that somebody could do that and drive home and be ok with themselves.”

Police released a surveillance photo of the minivan, and said it was believed to be a light-colored van, possibly a Chrysler Town and Country minivan from 1999 to 2003. The minivan was believed to have sustained damage to the upper part of the windshield on the passenger’s side.

WELLESLEY, MA – A 21-year-old man who struck a bicyclist Friday and then fled the scene had been drinking throughout the day, police said.
Connor Campanelli hit the 47-year-old Framingham man as they were traveling in opposite directions on Hampshire Road near Bristol Road. He drove off, but turned himself in to police later that evening.

An ex-Frankfort police officer received a one-year sentence last week, months after he was charged in an October hit-and-run accident.
Mark Allan Brown Jr., 35, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Wednesday to two months in community corrections and 10 months on supervised probation, according to online court records, for his role in an accident that sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
