847. Nashville. Sept. 6. 22-year-old woman critically injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene. A passenger returned to the scene and reported that he told the driver to stop but he refused; also told investigators they had both been drinking prior to the crash.
848. Oconto, Wisc. Sept. 6. 77-year-old man struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
849. Miami. Sept. 6. Canadian tourist critically injured when struck by a white, four-door Ford Taurus or Buick sedan, with extensive front-end damage on the left side and possible damage to the roof and windshield. The partial Florida tag is: AJE 41??.
850. Dearborn County, Ind. Sept. 7. 3-year-old killed after being struck by a blue 2000 full-sized pick-up truck which fled the scene.
851. Brentwood, NY. Sept. 6. 45-year-old man on bicycle fatally struck by a white Mitsubushi which fled the scene.
852. Taylor, Mich. Sept. 7. Police officer assisting a stalled motorist fatally struck by a white Ford Crown Victoria type auto from the late 1990s or early 2000s which fled.

Police in Aberdeen are investigating what they said is an unusual hit-and-run that occurred on Wishkah Street overnight. Officers at the scene say they believe the car hit the victim on purpose.

[Detroit Police] Officer Nicole L. Rabior, 28, was arraigned this morning in Detroit’s 36th District Court on one count each of operating under the influence of liquor and failure to stop at the scene of a property damage accident attended vehicle in connection with the collision at about 2:45 p.m. Saturday at Gratiot and Houston Whittier in Detroit, according to the prosecutor’s office. The charges are 93-day and 90-day misdemeanors, respectively.
