1048. Fremont, Cal. Nov. 5. 83-year-old man gravely injured after being struck by a 1995 Toyota Avalon which fled the scene.
1049. Salinas, Cal. Nov. 6. 67-year-old woman struck and killed in front of her home by an undescribed vehicle that the driver didn’t stop at the scene.
1050. Des Plaines, Ill. Nov. 5. 17-year-old (pictured) Choice Taylor struck and killed while walking home from check getting his paycheck with his twin brother; undescribed car took off.
1051. Henrico, Va. Nov. 6. 35-year-old man killed when, after pulling off onto the right shoulder of 295, was standing in the right lane and hit by another vehicle, which fled the scene. No description of the car was available.
1052. Indiana Borough, Ind. Nov. 5. Woman struck by an early 1990s Chevrolet S10 pickup truck which fled.
1053. Raleigh, NC. Nov. 5. 41-year-old man struck and killed by an undescribed vehicle.
1054. Dover, Del. Nov. 7. 31-year-old man found dead in a roadside ditch after being struck by an undescribed car which didn’t stop, but left evidence behind.
1055. Lexington, Ky. Nov. 5. Woman found injured in street after being struck by an undescribed car which fled; no witnesses.
1056. Paterson, NJ. Nov. 7. Unidentified man in his 60s critically injured when a gold or tan Mazda or Nissan struck him. Witnesses said the driver appeared to be a Hispanic male in his 30s.

1057. Washington, DC. Nov. 7. Unidentified man struck and killed by a vehicle that, based on evidence at the scene, may have been hit by a Mercedes-Benz.
1058. Newhall, Cal. Nov. 8. 30-year-old man hospitalized in critical condition with “major” head injuries after being struck by a car that fled. Investigators did not release a description of the vehicle.
1059. Butler Twp., Pa. Nov. 8. 9-year-old boy playing catch with a friend airlifted to hospital after
being struck by a charcoal gray extended cab pickup truck. Driver described as being 50 to 55 years old with salt and pepper-colored hair and a beard. Police said the boys saw a car coming and moved to the side of the road, but they didn’t see the truck coming from the opposite direction.
1060. San Antonio, Texas. Nov. 7. Woman in her 60s hospitalized after being struck, on the sidewalk, by a dark-colored four-door car which fled.

El Paso police officers were called out to investigate a hit and run around 2 a.m. near the Golden Nugget and Doll House bars. A 23 year-old man had been struck by a driver and suffered life-threatening injuries.
“As investigators arrived on the scene they found another man who had been stabbed in addition to the man who was struck by the vehicle,” said Detective Mike Baranyay. He said both incidents stemmed from a fight inside one of the bars. “There was a physical altercation. It continued out into the parking lot.”

A short time later police received a call from the McDonalds on Stewart Avenue of a man acting suspiciously. Police say Konitzer was was inhaling the fumes from an aerosol can. Officers questioned him, and noted damage to his car. He was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, inhaling an illegal substance, and for a probation violation from Ozaukee County.

Academy Award nominated actress Cathy Moriarty, who is most remembered for her performance in the movie ‘Raging Bull’, recently got embroiled in a lot of controversy after she displayed her bad driving skills and made a run for it. The actress allegedly rammed her car against another and sped off from the accident.

A local man is dead after being hit and run over by his girlfriend with a U-Haul truck Sunday, according to the Detroit Police Department.
And I quote (VIII) …
He was a kid who never had a chance. A runaway teen killed over Labor Day weekend when he tried to cross Interstate 19. The driver stopped her SUV and checked on the boy – and then she sped away.
There is no justice here. Anthony Gillette’s case has yet to be solved. It’s been two months, and the driver has yet to come forward.
In a sad way, this is so consistent with his story. After all, adults failed Anthony Gillette in life, and now he is being failed in death.
