1001. Metropolis, Ill. Oct. 17. 51-year-old biker and 8-year-old daughter suffer major injuries after being struck by an undescribed vehicle which took off.
1002. San Francisco. Oct. 17. 4-year-old boy injured after being struck by a burgundy, 1980s-model four-door Honda which fled the scene. The boy’s mother told police she heard a “boom” and saw her child lying in the roadway.
1003. Belleville, NJ. Oct. 17. Unidentified man without ID knocked unconscious by an unidentified vehicle.
1004. Highland, Ill. Oct. 17. 75-year-old man struck and killed by an black or dark blue Ford SUV with a White Sox license plate involved in a collision with a small pickup truck.
1005. Athens, Ga. Oct. 16. 42-year-old man struck and killed by an undescribed vehicle that fled the scene.
1006. Churchville, Va. Oct. 14. 21-year-old man hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle, likely a pickup truck, while walking around looking for a job.
1007. Haines City, Fla. Oct. 20. 31-year-old woman struck and killed by a light-colored 2001 to 2005 Ford Ranger or Mazda B2200 pickup truck which fled the scene.
1008. Sayville, NY. Oct. 19. 42-year-old man killed when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
1009. Las Vegas. Oct. 20. “Police are on the hunt for a group people responsible for a string of violent early morning robberies and a deadly hit and run. The victim was a Las Vegas high school teacher.”
1010. Honolulu. Oct. 20. 2-year-old boy injured after being struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
