1526. Cape Coral, Fla. May 4. Man struck and injured by an unidentified vehicle which fled the not particularly well-lit stretch of roadway but may have stopped in another area to survey the damage to their vehicle.
1527. Virginia Beach, Va. May 3. Bicyclist hospitalized after being struck by a blue truck which fled the scene of the crime. “He’s not a raccoon. He’s a person,” victim Jim Dunham’s daughter Summer said.
1528. Springfield Twp., Ohio. May 4. 37-year-old man fatally struck by a silver Dodge Intrepid or silver Mercedes Benz which left him dead in the street.
1529. Acoma, NM. May 5. Man struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
1530. La Grange, Texas. May 2. 79-year-old man struck and killed by a Saturn, the driver of which took off and left the elderly man to die in the street.
1531. Portland, Ore. May 6. 29-year-old woman suffers non-life-threatening injuries when struck by a a late 1980s or early 1990s tan minivan which fled the scene.
1532. Lansing, Mich. May 5. 2-year-old child injured when struck by an SUV which took off.
1533. Tampa, Fla. May 6. Pedestrian suffers non-life-threatening injuries when struck by a newer model four-door Infiniti with no rims and no tint, possibly silver, which fled the scene.
